What this means in practice:

  • Many product links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase on Amazon, we may receive a small commission.
  • This commission comes out of Amazon's pocket, not yours. You pay exactly the same price whether you use our link or not.
  • Commissions never influence ratings or verdicts. Our review methodology applies identically to products that earn us commissions and products that don't — and negative reviews of affiliate-linked products stay published.

Occasionally a brand may sponsor a specific article or guide. When that happens, the content is labeled as sponsored at the top, and our editorial standards still apply: we do not accept payment for a positive rating, and sponsors have no input into our verdicts.

This site may display third-party advertisements (such as Google AdSense). Advertisers do not have any input into our editorial content, reviews, or product selections. Ad revenue is not tied to any specific product coverage.

What We Don't Do

  • We do not sell positive reviews, on this site or on any marketplace. Paid-for reviews violate FTC rules and Amazon policy, and we report schemes we encounter.
  • We do not charge consumers anything to read our content — no membership fees, no "unlock" payments.
  • We do not sell readers' personal information to brands or anyone else.
  • We do not give away or sell products. Product Trial Club is a content and recommendation site, not a product-sampling program.

Why You Can Still Trust the Reviews

Skepticism is healthy — we encourage it. Our long-term business depends on shoppers finding our reviews accurate and brands finding our analysis honest. One inflated review might earn a commission today; it costs the credibility that everything else depends on. That math is why our methodology requires a "what didn't work" section in every single review.
