Editorial Standards
Product Trial Club is built on one promise: the reviews you read here are written by real people who actually used the product. This page explains who we are, how we keep reviews honest, and how we handle mistakes. It exists so you can judge our work for yourself.
Who Writes Our Content
Our articles and reviews are produced by the Product Trial Club editorial team and a network of vetted community testers. Every reviewer — whether a staff writer or a community member — must complete the product through its real testing window before publishing. Guest contributors are identified where relevant, and all review content reflects first-hand use, not manufacturer claims.
Editorial Independence
Brands pay us to run testing campaigns, and we earn Amazon Associates commissions on some links. Neither arrangement touches what a reviewer writes. We do not accept payment for positive reviews, we do not let brands approve or edit review text, and we will end a partnership rather than compromise that line. Negative findings are published exactly as testers report them.
How We Test
We follow a fixed methodology: a minimum testing period by category, the same product used as a real owner would, and a five-dimension rating rubric. The full standard lives on our Review Methodology page, and our honest-review guide shows the structure we teach every new tester.
Disclosure
Free products and affiliate links are always disclosed. Our Affiliate & Disclosure Policy and the FTC disclosure guide cover exactly how, on every surface from Amazon to Instagram.
Corrections
We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we correct the published piece, note what changed, and date the correction. If you spot an error, email club@producttrialclub.com and we'll look the same business day.
